it’s my first time coming here - if you haven’t been here before you should plan to come next year, it’s a blast! it’s like Mardi Gras
If you ever have the chance to visit nola during peak Mardi Gras season absolutely take it, its the most chaotic fun you’ll probably ever have in your life
i went for the first time with a friend and it was STELLAR. we went on the friday (which was free🔥) and one of the live bands had contra dancing ‼️‼️‼️
and let me tell you. live music was so fire i shed a Fat tear.
genuinely felt like i was in that one scene in Tangled the way everyone was singing and dancing so happily together. dancing with your friends and mutually as enthusiastic strangers is so fun why don’t we all do this more often
