Uptown girls

I watched this movie for the first time ever last night and what a treat. automatically solidified in my top 10 of all time no doubt. i love an unlikely pair, an unlikely love story, i love an endearing story between child and grown up especially girls. molly is very relatable, I love her wardrobe, I love ray and her’s banter. This film has perfect pacing, perfect character development, perfect amount of sparkles and pink. I cried a couple times. Including a happy cry at such a picture perfect ending. Why can’t we have more happy endings in movies.

what if (2013)

I know it as ‘The F Word’ cause that’s the Canadian title. This movie is one of my all time favourite rom coms, I’ve seen it over 10 times. I love when movies get to be filmed and set in Toronto (because it‘s rare). you’ll never know the alternative outcome

when you make a decision you’ll never know what the alternative outcome would have been like. you can make it up in your head but there’s no logical way to actually know. so just make a decision and have confidence that it was the right one and if for some reason it’s not, you have no reason to believe the other outcome would have been any better or worse. regret is a wasted emotion for that reason.
