currently fasting for ramadan so had to do this over the last week to get a meal in before the sun rises:
1. set your alarm when you want / need to be up, regardless of when you went to bed.
2. actually get out of bed.
3. stay up as long as possible.
eventually you *will* need to sleep, and it will end up being earlier than youâre used to.
4. repeat.
first few days will be challenging, and may potentially be assisted by naps if youâre *really* sleep deprived (i try to avoid them bc naps are to my sleep what ice cream is to a childâs dinner but that isnât everyone) but eventually your body will naturally get tired when you need it to even if you could stay up longer, and at that point itâs just about maintaining the habit.
