In the past 6-8 months, I was able to discover a new but “true” side of me by moving out of my hometown and being by myself. I saw other ppl who inspired me to get more creative around things like my style, or how I carry myself. There comes a point where you‘ll feel incredibly comfortable in your shell once you analyze what you actually like and what is just an influence of the ppl around you. U don’t have to move out for that btw but it helped me more than anything else

i see solitude as metamorphosis. you need that time in the cocoon to really check in with yourself and the joy of that comes from how you'll gain a deeper understanding of yourself. sometimes i spend SO much time with myself that i get SO BORED that I HAVE to venture outside of myself. when i say venture, i mean challenging myself in how i self- express which will in turn, nourish my interactions with others when i choose to seek company. proceeding to create art, but trying new methods. going down youtube rabbit holes of things i am interested in so i can discover new references. cooking a meal without following a recipe and surprising myself. making the space i am in super cosy (candles, snacks on deck, music, blankets) going on long walks and picking up conversations with strangers through shared observations of life around us. watching music festivals/boiler rooms and dancing around my room like a mad man. once you feel comfortable in being by yourself, you'll be more aware of what you need from your company and when you seek it, you'll be a lot more intentional about it and cherish it even more.

I started loving being alone most of the time, it made me feel bored and empty at first when I started living alone but now I am starting getting used to it and embracing it and realizing it wasn't that bad after all. one of the best thing that could happen to a person is changing and expanding his perspective.

i think pushing thru my fears and trying to be more comfortable with my independence has helped me romanticize my life sm. you get to go watch any movie, brunch by yourself with a book in hand, go on long walks alone, take pictures everywhere you go! i also suggest reading more esp poetry, and writing down those phrases that stick out to you or resonate <3

Hard work and discipline pays off! Man if you got anything that you want to go for…be all in! If you stay consistent at some point it will pay off^^ it sounds basic but it’s true man + ah and manifest that shit… which doesn’t mean that you can write it down and not actually work for it no… manifest what you want and then go do the work for it otherwise all that manifesting etc is for nothing. Your subconscious has to actually believe in it more than you might think🏃🏾

Ngl I feel like sitting in a cafe by yourself is on of the most fun things to do. Put ur lil headphones on listen to some good music while just chilling or doing anything creative (doesn’t even have to be creative). Just a nice way to spend time
