the whole album. i have been obsessed with learning the story and dissecting the lyrics! it’s dark but so genius! my favourites are televangelism and strangers.

one of the best concept albums of all time. follows a young woman named Ethel Cain (the character, not the artist) as she encounters various men and eventually meets her violent death at the hands of one of the men. truly visceral and even disturbing at some parts but so so good, really recommend giving it a listen

this whole album's story is distrubing but this song especially. first time i listened to it i got jumpscared. honorable mention, sun bleached flies of the same album. that song put the fear of god in me

the beginning part of "perverts" when the choir is singing the distorted version of "nearer my god to thee"

i found this book at my school library this morning and decided to start to read it. it’s set in ireland, which is somewhere i’ve always wanted to visit. under 100 pages, short and sweet, and i’m really liking it!
