We all learn to accept it in our own time. There is something special about sitting still, reading, having a glass of water, doing yoga…even just cleaning/cooking and having a podcast on.
Taking a walk, going to a bookstore/record shop…anything that will let you be present and get off your phone 🩷
Been trying to do stints, timed spurts, of total silence throughout my work days. It’s a constant back and forth, music or silence. But I tend to feel calmer, better about myself somehow, after I manage to be silent awhile.
