some ideas: - going to the movies - going shopping (not for necessities, just for fun - esp at the thrift or vintage/antique places) - exploring new parts of ur city if there are places you've never been - doing your usual routine but at a cafe or (if the weather is nice) outside - like going to the park to read a book u were gonna read anyway - teaching urself a new creative skill and showing ur work to no one as u steadily improve, like painting, sewing, etc - getting to know urself more through journalling - could even be art journalling, junk journalling, collaging or using prompts if you're not much of a writer - going to museums turn ur phone off for all of these btw it's you time baby!!!

after spending the whole day interacting with other people i really like to look forward to when i get off work and i can drive around or just sit in my car in the parking lot. i'll either watch a show on my phone or read a book or listen to music or literally sit in silence. especially helps if you live with roomates or otherwise don't have your own space. i find this is great for me bc i feel like a little hamster in my own isolated ball having my enrichment time which then makes me feel reenergized to be around others. its low energy too if you don't feel like going for a walk but still want to be outside getting fresh air.

and don’t do any errands or cleaning that day, just like set a little budget — get a book and read it in the park with a snack, or take yourself out to coffee / people watch and then go see a movie or two. or go to a museum right when it opens and then get lunch (outside!) for yourself and pick something else to do after. for me, at least one part has to be artistic (book/film/art) and another has to be outside (most important part) then at the end of the day, find a good spot to watch the sunset and journal about your day and feelings!! it feels better because you’ll be in less of a slump after a nice day and will have a lighter mood to be thinking about what’s up lastly… go home and do a full shower, do the most relaxing possible version of your nightly routine (and no scrolling social media). if you can, wash your sheets a day or two before and put on a fresh set of PJs that night too… it makes crawling into bed that much better (also bonus points if you meditate before you fall asleep) i find this (one-day vacation? 12 hr solo date?) is a really nice way to reset my brain when everything is overwhelming or i feel like i’m stuck not doing much besides going through the motions. i tend to do it every few weeks lately and it is surprisingly refreshing ✨

Sometimes you just need to go on a city walk , solo date , get dolled up and wear your best outfit , go perfume shopping grab a croissant or a yummy sweet treat it’s my therapy and I always feel happy after and I love to write in my journal about the day or write in my Substack everything I did that day with my community
