i love this movie with my whole being. it played a huge part in developing my sense of humor, and it always brings me comfort. itโs familiar, and it reminds me of my hometown in some ways. i had a pink princess tv when i was a kid, and i remember watching it on that for several nights in a row until i changed it to something else, but i always returned to it eventually. i can quote it like the script is written on the palm of my hand, and hearing โweโre going to be friendsโ by the white stripes always makes me think of those intro credits with the plates of food. so much love for this movie.
