A movie fully committed to being unsatisfying. There is no payoff in this movie and it doesn't want you to think there will be. This will haunt me for a while. Directed by Gus Van Sant
It was just a movie about a monkey that kills people. No real end resolution, no overarching story, shitty motives, bad ending in general.
I do think the ending generally was βfunnyβ in a way but still badπ
I'm calling this a bad good movie. The craft is stellar with amazing performances. But the pace was exhausting and by the end I was left thinking "what was the point of it all?" Intricate but depthless.
I love a horrible ending. Or an ending that makes no sense and makes you feel like you wasted an hour plus of your life. Nothing makes me laugh harder.
