i have a lil problem with silly/novelty tees (my dresser is literally breaking) so i feel uniquely qualified to answer this!! here are some of my fave places to source:
- ebay!!! search for old crew tshirts from your favorite movies especially if you’re into that sort of thing (or old band merch) - there’s usually a ton of heaters on there for reasonable prices
- henry johnson (linked) does limited quantity drops of fun tees- can be a lil pricey but the quality is amazing
- jerks store - have amazing shit but SUPER expensive (esp if ur outside the UK). occasionally will have good deals on stuff so keep an eye out but i mostly window shop here tbh
- cryingintheclub - great quality, fun, reasonable prices, an overall good time!!
- o mighty - great if u want cunty tanks and baby tees
- fashion brand company - also great for cunty tank tops
- super yaki / girls on tees / humanboyworldwide - the best sites if youre a film lover!!! if you’re not - maybe skip these
- copycatvideopress - also great for movie and music specific tees & hats
- bluemondaypress - just a fun shop overall with tees, zines and other novelties
- brain dead studios - a little pricey but they have great collabs & the quality is unmatched imo (i got a korn shirt here once and i love her)

i love cutting and gluing and sewing and ending up with something unique and so me at the end. i make them for special occasions like concerts and costumes (the 7 is from when i was the robber in a catan halloween group) or just wanting to have a shirt with an inside joke on it :D i cannot be trusted in a joann’s lol

I spent numerous of my birthdays alone, so here's what worked for me
1. make a playlist of your favourite songs. literally every song you ever liked from when you were 10 to now.
2. go to your favourite place, but if you don't have one then just go to a park or a museum. I love people watching while listening to music.
3. book a spa day. that one I haven't tried but sounds fun. spa is better in solitude anyway.
4. eat your favourite food. honestly a game changer lol food is the most amazing thing we as species have created.
5. do something you enjoyed as a kid. painting, blowing bubbles, making sand castles. it makes you feel so good, like you're reconnecting with something that's been asleep deep inside you.
6. if you're not scared to talk to strangers then talk with someone you don't know. at a pub or in a line. could be fun.
