had my full circle moment last sunday, if anyone told 10-yrs-ago-little-me watching them on youtube that id see them live id laugh in their face
didnt get to see them play my no 1 fav - their version of careless whisper - but it was still overwhelming when i stood there in front of my childhood (and still) fav band ðŸ˜
love is a big word so i love you guys so so so so much

I've always 'got music' it's always been one of the biggest if not THEE biggest thing in my life. But I have been sat for some time now watching live performances on YouTube which I've never really done before and oh my goddddd. I GET IT. chills and tears. We are all one in the lyric 'i just want you to know who I am'. I think I'll understand concerts at least 70% more from now on.

i love this band so much. i saw them x3 during their residency tour this year and each time was otherworldly. james murphy is a phenomenal performer and a magician at what he does. i can't get enough of them i will see them until my pockets run dry
the first time i was with a friend and her friend. we drank red wine beforehand. i cried a lot at this show. seeing the disco ball light up and hearing all my friends for the first time was breathtaking
the second time i was with a friend and we did substances. substances make everything undeniably better i will not be obnoxious about that but i felt like james murphy was singing inside of my bloodstream and every instrument on stage echoed inside me esp nancy's keyboard
the third time i was completely sober! this was very emotional. this was the last tour and the last time i knew i was going see my friend since they live many miles away

they’re one of my favourite bands in the whole world and this specific live show has been a part of the soundtrack of my life since i was like 10, muchas gracias a mi papi que ponÃa el cd todo el tiempo durante mi niñez 🫀

Someone recommended that whenever you go on a walk with friends/anyone, choose a color and then take turns finding objects of that color. SO fun. Even more fun when you restrict it to a specific shade. The topics that the objects introduce to you are countless. A great way to get to know someone too.
