I lived there for 6 months so trying to remember whats good... Salsa bar called el bombon was fun if you wanna dance. Nevermind was pretty cool inside. Billy brunch. Explore around Poble nou and then head to the beaches up north. Bogatell was my fav, Mar Bella was a nudie. Stay away from Barcelonetta so dirty and pickpocket friendly. Kinda basic but a hike up to Bunkers del Carmel is a must, watch the sunset, bring some drinks and food and chill there one evening. I spent a lot of nights there. You have the best view of the city for sure. Montjuic is great too. And also around Tibidado, gorg houses, a bit far out. Watch out for Humana sales! depending what time of the month you could make it during their descending 5 euro, 2 euro, 1 euro or even 50 cent days. Everything in store super cheap, but it's also busy. Sagrada Familia is free if you go on Sunday for mass, but you have to be there early, around 8am. Nice art scene in Gracia and Poble nou, you'll find nice cafes and bakeries around there too, and in Exaimple Best bars were in Raval and sometimes Gothic, gets fun at night! That's all I can remember tbh, and I was there during covid so didn't do a load of restaurants or clubs etc etc, but you'll find nice stuff for sure :)

get the overground around Hackney ! It’s pretty! most of the museums/galleries have free collections (both Tate modern & Tate Britain, national gallery, V&A as already mentioned — V&A definitely worth a visit) . i also love the museum of the home, the photographer’s gallery, & the ICA (ICA has a cinema and brilliant bookshop also, & it’s v near Trafalgar Square so you can combine classic tourist activity with Something more obscure lol!). I am a big shopping gworl so i actually love dipping around carnaby street and libertys (which is so beautiful inside!). depends where youre staying etc and if it stays sunny but honestly the quintessential summer thing to do would be : Sit in a pub with a garden !!!!! & again - as it’s summer - highly recommend finding a gross little club or gig to go to. if I’m bored I just check resident advisor or dice and see whats coming up. if you’re comfortable sharing which area you’re staying in then I can send more specific recs hehe

Hey there, here are some cool things to do in berlin that are not too touristy :) Activities ~ Herzberg Golf (really pretty minigolf place in Neukölln, if you go in the evening the lights are amazing) ~ Prachtwerk Neukölln (small venue where local artists perform) ~ Berlinische Galerie (museum for modern art in a nice neighborhood) ~ Tempelhofer Feld (used to be an airport, now its just a giant field where you can skate, picknick or just walk around - i think you can rent skates or bikes there, not sure tho) ~ Humboldt Forum (art museum in an old castle, very impressive structure and they have changing exhibitions - this one is not very unknown but worth a visit) Food ~ La Maison (french bakery in Kreuzberg, a little hipstery but they have amazing pastries!) ~ La Bolognina (handmade pasta, very delicious :)) ~ La femme (turkish cuisine, they have multiple restaurants in berlin - the food is heavenly, especially the pide) ~ Sahara Imbiss (for a quick snack, sahara has amazing falafel/halloumi etc. for 4-5€) Bars ~ Villa Neukölln (cocktails and sometimes livemusic, can get pretty crowded tho so come early) ~ Zum starken August (amazing interior, they have good cocktails and sometimes burlesque performances) I think thats it for now, hope you have a nice time in berlin :)
