when you go to twist off the cap, simply tell yourself that you have already opened the jar. it’s always easier once it’s been opened so it shouldn’t be hard.

Hand it off to someone else to open

For whatever reason, you can struggle with a jar and the second someone else tries to open it, it pops open seamlessly. It’s a weird evil trick the universe plays on you. Now I’ll give it my all and fight and dry heave through the struggle and then when I hand it to my wife it immediately opens. Learn to beat the system. Learn to beat the universe.
