Taking care of my skin has boosted my confidence more than anything ever has. Right now my nighttime routine is wash my face with Bobbi Brown soothing cleansing oil, curolgy, retinal, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, the ole henrikson undereye cream, and triple antibiotic ointment. My morning routine is washing my face with Sonya Dakar gentle facial milk cleanser, spray my face with Osea sea mineral mist, Osea hyaluronic sea serum, Sonya Dakar nano hydrator moisturizer and Sonya Dakar SPF 30. If I go outside a lot I use 50 spf. I had cystic acne when I was younger and Curology really changed my skin. It completely cleared it up. I’m so grateful for it. When I was younger I tried absolutely everything. Salt water, mouth wash, that nuetrogena face wash with the micro plastics in it. Nothing really worked until Curology. I also take Tri-Sprintec birth control because it is the most effective at clearing your skin. If I have a break out I take Doxycycline which is an antibiotic that stops acne from forming. It’s been a lot of work and not easy but I’m so happy I did it. I love face masks too. My favorite is Blue Tansy from Herbivore. It’s a nice exfoliator that really changes your skin. I notice a big difference with it. I also love sheet masks. Innis Free has my favorites. They just feel so effective to me. A nice evening to me is staying in and taking care of my skin. I love to steam my face, do an exfoliating face mask, then a pore cleaning one and then a moisturizing one. Then I do an eye mask and all of my skincare steps. It feels so good and I look amazing when I wake up.

I've been a skincare head for...I suppose since I was about 7 and my mom had my start using Oil of Olay. I'm incredibly thankful for the habit having been prompted at such a young age. I recently switched from their classic vitamin E facial moisturizer to this more serum like one. It always makes me look like I had a slightly more restful night than I actually did. I've had a deep affection for the Malin & Goetz brand ever since the two founders agreed to do an interview in 2005 (!) on a blog I started with my friend Chuck Anderson and later Virgil Abloh called THE BRILLIANCE. Interviewing founders of a skincare company on a blog was quite odd to our readers, and the founders too I'd imagine, back then.

I spent years destroying my body and so now I try to work double time taking care of it. Self care is key. I go through these phases where I read dozens of “Best of” lists for skin products and toiletries. There is some link there between the complete self-debasement of my past and wanting to experience the bliss of fancy salves, lotions, creams, and oils but this is my first time ever analyzing it. What I do know is that out of all the skin care products I’ve tried nothing compares to Everyday Oil. As they say, “everyday, all over”. I particularly like using it in my hair. It smells great and its from Black Mountain, NC…shouts out Ray Johnson.

My style is at an all time high due to the fact I am currently single and have a lot of time to focus on me, myself, and I. I also live down the street from the location on classon which is run by these brilliant Puerto Rican women who wash everything in the store and take no shit. They never give me anything off and they’re so passive aggressive if you’re in the store pass closing. I love it. I have a whole process when sourcing vintage. Everything I wear has come from this store! The prices are super cute

Every bad bitch has groceries. It’s the IT Girl pass to be brutally honest. Free food? Are you kidding me? If you’ve never seen a glamorous person pull out an EBT card I’m not sure if I feel comfortable hanging around you or the next person. I’m just fortunate enough to qualify, with me being an emerging artist and all. One has to equip themselves with a full arsenal.
