just started reading but I can say the first chapter gutted me in the best way possible and really made me reflect on a lot of things. fair warning not a before-bed read, unless you want to be up all night thinking about EVERYTHING.

So i have been on a mission to read books to figure out why i am kind of bad at the love thing and i am learning SOOOO much!!! this healing was so needed tbh i had kind of let things get to me and affect how i was treating people (romantic and platonic) and i want to do better. this book really solidified things in my head but also held me in a caring way. I have many more books in the chamber but i already feel so held accountable and so honest with myself it’s great

This book was recommended to me on a long flight by someone probably 15-20 years older at the time. They said it changed their life and it changed mine. It's good to pick up over the years, you always know when you need it.

old jazz, new jazz, all jazz is absolute GOLD. soothes the soul and mind. transports me to a place of utter bliss. even doing something I don’t like, I put on a jazz playlist and I can physically feel all of my stress dissipate. I could listen to it at any hour, but I think it really hits different late at night or super early in the morning.
