Truly anything that comes to mind. Quotes I like, ideas, thoughts on anything at all, to-do lists, etc. I've seen people draw in theirs, as well. It's really a free for all. I'll be real I tape sticky notes and keep stickers in mine lol But speaking of walks! You should totally write about what you see on your walks, try to pull meaning even from the smallest things! Poems about ants, how you liked that one persons hat, anything at all is worth jotting down imo

when you walk around try to pay attention to your surroundings and take notes of what you see on a specific notebook. For example yesterday I saw: a spider eating a bug, a tiny black and white bird on the sidewalk, a hawk flying, a yellow flower I’ve never seen before, a red poppy, a woman with bright cherry hair, and a shoe-shaped cloud. It’s good exercise for the writers out there

It's basically just an analog notes app, but it's something separate from your phone that allows for a little more disconnection from technology. Plus, it's tangible. So you can have a visual representation of the amount of thoughts or ideas that you've had over time. You'll have a collection of mini books that you can go back through and see where your mind has been. I'm about to finish my third little guy, and it's fun to have a collection of pages that represents my ingenuity and reminds me of memories I've forgotten. Sometimes I make myself laugh when I go back through or I contemplate something I said or I disagree with a comment I made a while back, or I feel inspired to rehash something I'd written. Today I went back through and found a drawing I don't remember doing. I found a short grocery list from who knows when. I found a bunch of ideas I want to go back to. I found these comments too: "A vape is sitting on the subway seat next to me. Should I hit it and see what happens?" and "I'm on the six early in the morning and just watched a homeless man light another homeless man's crack pipe. Sharing is caring."

Can instill wonder and inspiration. The flavor of a candy you like, an article of clothing you love, various trinkets displayed at your place, etc. Doesn't have to be positive either. an annoying habit of your boss, a wet sock, something that made you cry, and so on. It helps that we have the notes app ready at our fingertips for all things bullet points and incomplete/passing thoughts. The more trivial it is, the more room it'll give you to explore your creative abilities and return to if unfinished.

People in your life who don't pressure you to text or call them all that often and vice verse. Such a relief through the web of constant pressure I feel to keep up with people due to social media. Like nah it's cool if you don't text me that same day, we got lives to live buddy, I'll see ya when I see ya.

Although not horror in it's traditional sense, the dystopic and serious nature of the rules set in this black comedy movie are beyond horrific. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since I saw it a couple of weeks ago. It's an insane watch.
