Sounds crazy but I came home from the gym yesterday very hot then took a cold shower and heated up some tofu noodle soup I made and it was great

Nothing is as satisfying in the summer heat as a bowl of steaming hot soup. Lentils with brown and wild rice in a tomato based broth with cilantro and spinach. In part I think it’s cultural, but I am waiting for it to be uncomfortably warm before I make cocido this summer.

It's not only soup season, but it's also cooling the extra soup outside season. It's so satisfying to take the big ol' pot of leftovers and let the winter air take its course instead of making your fridge work extra hard.

Art criticism has its place but nothing stinks more than recommending a movie to someone and them saying “but it has a low IMDB rating”… maybe it’s just ahead of its time. maybe it’s misunderstood. Maybe it’s perfectly low brow.
