For the past few months I keep getting notifications that just say “someone” or link to an empty acc. I’m not sure if it’s bc I’ve blocked someone but they still see my posts & interact with them, or smth similar

So, I’ve seen a few notifications that someone who already followed me has followed me again. I chalked this up to them unfollowing me and then re-following (weird, but fair play). But now I’ve gone to people’s profiles a couple times who I’m sure I follow only to be shocked that I have to awkwardly re-follow them.

opened up a dm with one of my mutuals to discover there were, like, six messages that they had apparently sent me over the course of what seems like several months (though the messages themselves aren't timestamped so it's hard to know) but i never received any kind of notification and also our conversation isn't listed in the "CONVOS" panel either. not sure what to make of this

I blocked someone who was messaging me crazy stuff but even tho the chat is gone when you open up the chat area the icon still shows as me having 24 notifs for every message sent
