Rec'd on 🫙 opening jars/bottles/etc. with weak little hands
These little foamy mesh mats
you can pick em up at the dollar store and they’re made specifically for this task. it’s all about friction, not just strength! these little puppies will help you friction-max and pop that lid right off. if it’s still tough, give a hard tap with the dull side of a knife, leaving a dent every 45 degrees or so around the edge (of a metal lid), and it’ll loosen up.

solomonki omg yes wicked!!!! there's a stall @ the local farmer's market that sells honey from a bajillion different kinds of gum trees & i always wonder how they convince the bees where to go..... or whether they do tastings of the honey afterwards and decide how to label it that way??? or whether they simply make it up!!!

thank you for reminding me I need some of these. opening jars is the main use for me, but I just bought this cute, hand painted glass soap pump for my bathroom and I need to cut one of these to put under it so it won't slide off the sink!

a Rubber band to open jars
You don't have to death-grip the lid as tightly when there's actual grip. Just wrap one around the lid (thicker ones work better than the one in the picture), and voila! We always have some on a hook for random things like this.
