plasticana gardana clog. the brooklyn man shoe. so damn comfy and goes with EVERYTHING. 10/10 my fav shoes of all time probably, have worn nearly every day the last 14 months anything from oree nyc, they basically make what i call doc martens for adults and most all their shoes have a lug sole with foam spacer. i have their infantry boots and morgan derbies. big fan timberland 3 eye mocs. theres some sick versions out there, i have a supreme collab pair with braided leather from 2022 that i still wear a good amount vintage gucci loafers or horatio beaufoy loafers. i like the lug sole ones most personally but all look great with basically anything. have personally owned horatioโ€˜s standard beaufoy model and would avoid the tumbled leather options though they get floppy with time adidas superstar. less played out than a samba but still great. have owned many black pairs over the years. watch out for the mesh lining it is susceptible to overwear/ripping if you donโ€™t have them in a rotation, in rotation they can last years literally any kind of mary jane, especially the tabi ones but the mary jane is just a beautiful shoe in basically all incarnations. donโ€™t own any rn would love to though

I don't drive so I walk a lot and treat shoe purchases as if I am buying vehicles. I have acknowledged this week that I now have every shoe I will need. I have tried and tested many many many kinds and brands and these are my findings Trainers: - For day to day, city walking etc = Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 (I have walked 15,000 steps in these and felt nothing) - For longer distances, when you need a chunky sole, rain etc = Adidas Astir Sandals: - Clarks (I just got the Alda Cross sandals and wowww) Boots: - Vagabond (beautifully made, comfy, great styles) - Fly London (I wore these for ten hour bartending shifts and they were super comfy) - Skechers (mostly hideous but they have squishy sole walking boots which are peak comfort) Heels: - I have done a lot of research here and the way to find walkable heels is to look for the positioning of the heel. If the heel is directly under the heel of the foot that's good, if it's right at the back that's bad. It's all about the weight distribution. - My favourite nice heels are from Aquazzura, my second favourite are from H&M. Loafers: - Gucci win for both heeled and flat loafers - Marks and Spencers in second place for chunky loafers Slip ons/clogs: - Birkis by Birkenstock - bonus round: I've loved every pair of sliders I've ever met

leaves you susceptible to dating someone for too long because they play a role rather than it being about who they are. if you go in open to every situation, it will play out as its supposed to naturally (sometimes with a little nudge)
