I have a tendency to get really into a hobby and spend a lot of money then lose interest and abandon the hobby. A lot of times I will pick the hobby up years later. Anyways, I like sketchbook painting, cooking, fishing/kayak fishing, birding, gardening.
I think i just have a curious mind and like to learn a lot about a lot of different things.

I do this all of the time, currently into knitting but I think retro technology is about to take over tbh

I was really into animals and nature as a kid and would buy these books at walden books that had a really nice photo on the right page of a spread and on the opposite page it listed their habitat, diet, range etc. i was always fascinated as to what animals I could potentially see where i lived. later i did the same with birds after I was gifted Petersons Field Guides Birds of North America or whatever it is called. I also was into plants and flowers And mushrooms. I can still identify most trees, flowers, birds without looking them up.
I also wanted to be a hockey player for awhile and played a lot when I was really young and then picked it back up in my early 20s. Then, I wanted to be a chef and would watch the food network every day as like a 10 year old kid. it is kind of cool bc i knew how to cook ever since then and didnt have to depend on other people.
I also really liked to fish but i think part of it was being outdoors and flipping rocks to find crayfish and salamanders and hellgrammites and stuff like that.
The other hobby that has been on and off throughout my life was art.
This is really boring and I never wanted to be a writer so nobody has probably made it this far.

like yeah i love hydroponics! (i put my lettuce from the grocery store into a pot of water and it rotted three days later)
ya i dabble in programming (i customized my tumblr theme when i was 16)
i’m been really into cooking (eating out is to too expensive so i’ve been making oatmeal for dinner all week)
i really like writing :) (my 1-month situationship from 2022 ruined me and i still need to journal about it regularly or else my brain will explode)
i’ve been getting more into drawing (i doodled something 2 months ago and haven’t picked up a writing utensil since but it was fun and i’ll probably try it again someday)
