I love video games but I have specific types of games I gravitate towards, not exactly typical ā€œgamerā€ games. Ace Attorney is my fave & Iā€™m always looking for more lawyer games. Really into Genshin Impact - best integration of performing arts and video games Iā€™ve seen. Animal Crossing saved my life. Also enjoy the My Time At x series, Octopath Traveller, other Hoyoverse games, other mystery games, Persona 5, a wide assortment! Crosswords I get into on and off- sometimes I get overwhelmed by the sheer amount but itā€™s good fun. Learned how to do cryptics a few years back - theyā€™re more like math equations! Cooking I actually hadnā€™t really considered a hobby until last night - not because I only started last night, but because I do get into waves of food experiments (eg making breakfasts from around the world, using up everything in my fruit & veg box) and love to share my efforts to friends & family but only acknowledged it as an actual hobby upon reflection. PNGTubing is when you live-stream or make online content using a PNG avatar of yourself. Itā€™s like the Lo-fi cousin of VTubing. I havenā€™t done it much this year because of major family stuff eating my schedule but I hope to get back into it!

computer free hobbies: going for walks, doing activities (or just chatting!) with my friends (activities often include seeing art and music, gaming, having snacks, tea, drinks, meals, dancing, exploring the city, etc), reading (books pdfs anything really), thrifting, scrapbooking, experimenting with clothing and hair, {painting, drawing, weaving}these used to be more major in my life and i plan to get back into them this year... i bought supplies for cross stitching a while ago that i need to put to use asap also computer hobbies: shopping/collecting using websites like ebay, researching my topics of interest, posting on pi.fyi (feels like scrapbooking digitally), planning (i love making little itineraries using spreadsheets im about to do this rn), finding new music and art, watching video essays, listening to podcasts

my day job is pattern cutter and when iā€™m not thinking about clothes i usually am thinking about one of these things i got into cooking with my friend collin the first time i lived in paris weā€™d collaborate a lot on meals, and even more after i stopped eating meat. been getting back into it lately after taking time away due to being too busy, living in a small french city and not eating meat means cooking is essential basketball, got into it from my dad and loved it ever since i was a kid. have become a pretty hardcore nerd atp, none of my irl friends really like it much but im deep on twitter with it, really beautiful game when played certain ways. no longer play much at all but love to watch and talk about it parents are huge tennis freaks both watching and playing, i rejected it when i was younger because it was kinda forced on me but now i really enjoy watching it for reasons i canā€™t explain. much more of a casual fan than basketball though. i want to get into playing sooner than later though, looks fun yo-yos, i was a professional when i was younger, got into it bc a kid on my course in middle school was into it, so a bunch of other people in my school started too and i was the one who never stopped. was competitive for a few years but yoyo is more like art than sport in that once youā€™re into it the best tricks are hard to quantify and are more a matter of opinion + dependent on specific execution kinda like skateboarding. it was also my introduction to design through understanding how size/width and weight distribution and shit made a yo-yo play a certain way. iā€™ve been off and on for like 12 years now but i still do it for fun by myself since covid and post tricks on instagram.com/rapbeefinstigator

like yeah i love hydroponics! (i put my lettuce from the grocery store into a pot of water and it rotted three days later) ya i dabble in programming (i customized my tumblr theme when i was 16) iā€™m been really into cooking (eating out is to too expensive so iā€™ve been making oatmeal for dinner all week) i really like writing :) (my 1-month situationship from 2022 ruined me and i still need to journal about it regularly or else my brain will explode) iā€™ve been getting more into drawing (i doodled something 2 months ago and havenā€™t picked up a writing utensil since but it was fun and iā€™ll probably try it again someday)

Iā€™ve started getting a box of produce that is usually deemed too ā€œuglyā€ to be sold at supermarkets. Even the solo box has a lot!! Nothing like not wanting to waste your produce to inspire you to cook! Things Iā€™ve made: * Salted egg chicken & broccoli * Japanese chicken curry with potatoes & carrots * Dehydrated apples (Hurrah instant pot)a * Fried rice with green beans, carrots, and egg * Fried noodles with tofu, veg, and a tin of spiced mackerel pate that I got at a fancy grocer * Various varieties of avocado on toast/crackers (with feta or eggs or or fancy grocer pastrami) * Ultra buttery roast veg with cheesy polenta * Air fried Brussel sprouts * Sri Lankan pumpkin curry

According to the Sloth Conservation Foundation: "The manedĀ slothĀ (Bradypus torquatus)Ā was first described in 1811 by Carolo Illigier. InĀ 1850, the British zoologist John Edward Gray claimed to have discovered a second species, which he namedĀ Bradypus crinitus, but his assertions were dismissed. Now, 172 years later, science has proved Gray right. Thanks to colleagues from Brazil, the Southern ManedĀ SlothĀ (Bradypus crinitus)Ā is officially recognized as the seventhĀ slothĀ species!"

Actually a fun time, surprisingly Queens is the hardest but itā€™s really grown on me once I figured out whatā€™s going on (mostly). Pinpoint and Crossclimb are alright too!
