Not over the ear but I’ve been really impressed by them. Not just for music but tv/movies too. Watching a movie on Apple TV with them sounds like a movie theater to me.
Over ears, Audio Technica and Sony are the go-to brands for affordable headphones (<$150 or so, I think)
I have AT over ears that I like. They’re monitor headphones, though, so they might sound dull to you after Beats.
I also have some fancier Hifiman headphones that I liked a lot, but I just use the AirPods now.

Now I have not used a lot of Bluetooth headphones..and certainly not extensively so I can’t say it’s like “absolutely the best quality for the price and for Bluetooth phones” .. but when I was doing my research before buying a pair everyone said so
Not bass heavy if that’s of any great priority to you* but imo they do plenty ‘nuff

ifyou’ve seen a video of a band playing live in a studio, these are what they’re wearing. I have the Audio Technica ones and really like them. They are “monitor” headphones so neutral sounding. If you want BASS look elsewhere.

I thought I could get by with inexpensive earbuds. But I bought nice over ear headphones for video editing and, the first time I listened to my favorite band on them, I learned how much I was missing. Falling asleep listening to an album on these is one of my small pleasures.
