Go to nostalgia for vintage! Amys place (right next to nostalgia) for the best breakfast ever Federal Hill for: dessert at pastiche, Italian markets, and dancing in the square (I think dancing is weekend nights in the summer) East side pockets on Thayer street- cheap and always great. Walk around Thayer and browns campus afterwards. Prospect park- lovely picnic spot and overlooks the city the atheaneum- the most beautiful library I’ve ever been to. I think it’s $5 to enter now, but worth it! Risd art museum- small but cool Pizza Marvin! The eddy for drinks Aleppo sweets for baklava & cool bookstore next door

Harvard Square: Highly recommend the free! Harvard Art Museums in Cambridge. And if youre in a movie mood there’s cool showings at The Brattle! Books: Lot 49 Museums: Philadelphia Museum of Art of course, Barnes (near PMA), Mutter Museum (really unique), Institute of Contemporary Art is cool and free but small, Fabric Workshop and Museum is also free and small and the exhibit going on right now is cool Food: Triangle Tavern, El Chingon, Han Dynasty (Old City location is in a gorgeous building), Machine Shop (in Bok, for pastries), walk around Chinatown, Pizza Plus for takeout pizza, Ember and Ash, Tabachoy, The Tasty for vegan brunch, Pietramala or Vedge for a fancy dinner if you can get a res

It is my belief that so many people would be less lonely if they invited their friends to do their mundane errands and chores together. Dont have time to see your friends, cant afford to go out to socialize? Invite your friends to things you already will be doing and it ease some of the pain of the responsibilities. Or call someone to come over if you made a little too much for dinner. here is what I shared tonight: chicken thighs, fairy tale eggplant, fennel salad, and a nice groleau red wine

when I was in high school, my friend and I grew up catholic but we were always the ones wrecking havoc and causing mayhem. One day we got the bright idea to convince all these sheltered catholic kids that my real name was Breast and my name (Bailey) was a nickname for it. I told them that I had talked to the school about changing my name on any official reports to Bailey instead of Breast- due to excessive bullying. None of them were comfortable calling me my “correct name” and I would go into long speeches about how vulnerable it was for me to come forth with my real name and it was disrespectful for them to not acknowledge me as such, etc. Anyways, this lasted a few months before we finally confessed our scheme and everyone’s minds were blown.
