black boots/sneakers that I donā€™t mind getting scuffed up like timbs/goretex converse when itā€™s cold out, or adidas superstars, black straight leg or slim jeans, black t shirt/flowy button up. This is usual club fare for me If Iā€™m at a restaurant I always wear a white or preppy blue button up, dark jeans or slim chinos + brown boot or loafer I dress to blend and go with something pedestrian rather than statement pieces I guess but this is kind of my personal style, I donā€™t say much with going out outfits Side note I got heavy into personal style and fashion in high school and was severely online but sidelined for millennial gen fashion trends, I think this is why Iā€™m aggressively anti anti fit and need a slim pant

everyone these days seems to have an aesthetic or a cohesive wardrobe or some kind of ā€œ-coreā€ which is all so cool. iā€™m just a jeans and t-shirt guy, and sometimes a cool jacket :)

The prep dads are thriving in the light blue top / khakis / dress shoes fits right around now. I donā€™t really love any of those pieces by themselves, and I generally donā€™t love how the prep-centric people will put them together, but I love the idea of it as an outfit. So hereā€™s my take on it: a sashimi mended & patched chambray shirt, CAT workwear pants, and brown paraboots. From a distance I fit right in, but when you get closer thereā€™s some distinctive features. I think if you donā€™t know what to wear, find a stereotypical outfit that youā€™ve seen on the street and replicate it your own way. You might end up loving it.

a buddy of mine oft wears all back or all white depending on the season because he wants people to rely on his personality. I personally canā€™t do that but I can say I own very few items of clothing with brands or patterns on them now. Solids almost across the board
