granted that this rec comes with a lot of privilege, I find that usually when I level with a customer service rep, are kind to them/understanding of their obligations, and just ask for what I want explicitly, people tend to just go with it. thereās got to be some kind of psychology behind the phrase ānow I know you probably canāt do x given y or z, but I figured I would try my luck.ā
