anything ethel cain- her new album, perverts, is such an awesome project. but songs like strangers, thoroughfare, sun bleached flies, inbred,,, i could go on. also muna, lucy dacus, boygenius (of course), and like. more than i could list really ! it‘s the middle of summer here- hottest on record for a while (#globalwarming 😭) but i’ve been feeling the more autumnal musical vibes (this being said, i love summer. do not get me wrong. summer is my girl. my FAV girl.)- but this means i’ve been putting on a bit of the slower, folkier, indie music. still a lot of upbeat stuff, but a bit more balance.
