i love people watching in general, but there's something so special about not just viewing the art in museums, but observing those who surround you take in the paintings in front of them. you can tell a lot about people with how seriously they are about studying the paintings and understanding all the hidden stories in between the artists strokes. i love going to museums with my mom because of how we both love to point out the little details and wonder what the stories behind the paintings are.

Wonder

I am brought to tears seeing the joy on people’s faces and in people’s eyes and I think that is one of the reasons why I love art museums and theater so much. There’s nothing quite like the shared adoration of a piece or to watch someone’s expression ever so slightly crack as they turn the corner and marvel at something spectacular!!

Art galleries

Going to an art gallery is such a fun (and often free) day out. It's a great way to get inspiration of different ways to create from painting to photography and sculptures. One of my favourite parts is reading the description to learn about the people in the historical paintings and piecing them together with my knowledge of that historical time period. It's also a nice calm environment to be in so it's nice to just wonder around and catch up with a friend.
