you can be as sad or angry or sappy as you want, the journal will never judge you and it’ll help your brain hit the refresh button. The writing doesn’t even have to make sense or look legible just get the thoughts out!
In post- breakup journaling I found it helps to use it as letters you’ll never send to that person.
Also! As time goes on you can check on your own progress by reading previous entries and thinking wow I feel way better than I used to☀️
