I forgive the summer for not living up to the hype, I forgive myself for not filling every second of my day with productive work, and I forgive the weather for being so god-awful for so many months. The weather is the only one who I know is going to make restoration.

Summer lasts just long enough to make you miss winter. Winter lasts just long enough to make you miss Summer. personally for me I just look to the weather. Its hard to feel sad in the summer, with the golden sun shining and filling you with warmth. In the winter, I find is where I take the most time to reflect. its quiet, and sort of meditative in a way. Find whatever works for you in each season!

Knowing that seasonal depression isn't coming for me or any loved ones is a big one. I love wearing shorts. I love having a full day. I love that there's this opportunity to plan things ahead of time without being worried about not knowing the weather. I love the sun. I love the smell of sunscreen and chlorine on a beach towel. I love ice cream. I know it gets REALLY hot sometimes and humid and there's mosquitos but something about all the nuanced things that make up this season make it worth it.

But really all I talk and think about these days is the season SUMMER. I wish it would stop raining already in South Florida because I really need to hit the beach early this year. Starting my summer once the rain season is over and I recommend everyone to do the same

feel i'm severely late to the game but i can't shut up about this guy. i've never seen someone so thoroughly representative of what it is to be an Aquarius. i watched his Shapes special and some Fantasmas and it's all so prescient and divine and stupid. gonna see his new film Problemista later today.
