Just saw the second. Are the people who made these movies getting enough credit? What a mitzvah to teach mental health to kids with such masterful storytelling. AND ADULTS!

i cried ;_; won't spoil it for you, but they handled Riley's aging so gracefully. the visuals were super pretty as well, they mixed artstyles throughout the movie like you see in other animated films nowadays. ohhh and the soundtrack, so goodddddd i expected a little kiddy movie but it was truly poetic and worth the watch after all

Revisited these when babysitting my 7 year old half brother. He had never seen them, so I’ve been showing him a new one every night. God these are all such masterpieces and are films that I think grow a deeper understanding and appreciation with age. I am just so in awe of animation and those who dedicate their lives to mastering it.

In college I crushed on a guy with a mullet then realized I could just get my own mullet. Thought this dude in a bolo tie recently was so hot then I just started wearing a bolo tie. Surface level crushes are the perfect inspo source
