The vintage shopping is pretty great in both cities. I remember Epoca in Florence and Twice in Trastevere. Walking around Trastevere is cool as hell. Taverna Trilussa had delicious pasta and Roscioli was great for a mid-day bite Drink lots of coffee and wine! Even the gas stations have good espresso. If you have time, stop through Siena. Thought it was such a mysterious city with spooky nooks and winding maze-like streets. Half fort, half village.

I'm moving away from the neighbourhood I called home for the last two years. Yesterday as I was going back through it after picking up the keys to my new place, a mysterious big screen in the park next to my house had appeared that simply said "28 September, 17:30". It was just 20 minutes until 17:30, so I decided to wait. As the time came, words starting appearing on the screen, describing in real time the park and the people and things in it. Creating a narrative. Urging people to stop and notice. Notice the palm leaves rusteling. Notice the kids playing ball to the left. Notice the group of friends sitting on the steps, laughing. What are they talking about? Who is the lady in yellow waiting for? Where is the kid on the bike swooshing by going? I wish I knew who the artist behind this art piece/preformance was. It was such a perfect way to say goodbye to my neighbourhood, just sitting there, being in the moment, really looking at it and appreciating everything around me. In a way it felt like the neighbourhood was saying goodbye to me too. Thank you mysterious screen<3
