They have like 2 of their songs on Spotify (and a few demos on Soundcloud) and they've been enough for me to be a massive, massive fan for like 4-5 years now lmao. They describe themselves as dream-pop but there's definitely a slightly folksy twang to them as well. I've linked my favourite version of my favourite song of theirs but there's a full band version too. I saw them a couple of weeks ago in a small club after knowing about them for like 5 years and I honestly cannot Ever shut up about them <3

Linked my favorite song from their recent EP. Found this artist through tiktok a few months ago and had been really looking forward to this EP. They bring this labored, midwestern emo thing to their sound that feels really comforting to me. Plus, i love a vocal flip, especially one that sounds like sad yodeling. I just think they’re really cool :-)

My friend and I happened upon this. Meaning, strive to live your life in a way that makes you feel hot. Dress to feel hot. Talk to feel hot. Do whatever you do, but in a way that makes you feel like you're worthy of the love and adoration and crushes and desire you deserve. Kind of a genre of medieval paintings, but confirms to me how horny people have always been and how we've always had to sublimate our desires into the dominant culture. It's so weirdly explicit and bizarre, and has so many layers in how it would have been used: a painting to look at, a page in a prayer book to speak as a script, a physical object to touch and venerate and meditate with.... like imagine people fingering this "wound" and being like, yes this is honestly totally about jesus. Crazy.
