especially in vancouver in the spring, they have that brightness that really evokes springtime. my personal favourites are the white ones with the yellow centre, because they look like eggs
new favorite flower alert?? they planted these all over campus and they're growing sporadically next to the roads near my apartment and i just think they are so sweet. so springy and bright. just seeing them cheers me up!!
They always look perfect? Like the platonic ideal of a flower. I think they look fake and I am completely obsessed with them.
They also start blooming right before the first spell of really nice weather so they make me feel like I may not die of seasonal depression
iβm needing to remind myself that being odd and dressing uniquely is not a bad thing. going back to university and not knowing anyone in my classes while also showing up in a full tweed suit or a tetris cardigan or a long brocade jacket is okay. donβt let the uniqueness leave you just because people give you strange looks.
be more like the girl that dresses in head to toe lolita coords every day. or the guy that came to class dressed as soulja boy for no particular reason. get weird with it!!
