Manically updating your goodreads

Nothing makes me feel more accomplished than marking another book as “read” on Goodreads. Sometimes I even update what percentage I’ve read, just to show people I’m actively reading. Even if I’m being completely unproductive in every other aspect of my life, as long as I’m keeping up with Goodreads I’m doing fine

I’m half way through my fifth book of the year with 13 books already in my to read pile. I’ve got more books in my to read pile than my dad which is quite the accomplishment.

I only read 9 books last year. Aiming for less time scrolling tiktok, more time reading the dang books in 2025… But I know I’ll get sucked back in for all the hot takes as soon as I finish a book😏
