I have no idea how I had never seen this before let alone how it’s considered one of David Lynch’s weaker works. Maybe the most fun I have ever had with a movie. I was 100% locked in from start to finish. This is a film for REAL LOVERS, Sailor and Lula make Gomez and Morticia seem nonchalant, just insane chemistry on screen too

desert hearts (1985)

THE lesbian movie. if you're into brokeback mountain, westerns, slow burns, classic movies, this is your movie. it has a weird mix of 80s nostalgia and 50s vibes, characters look very 80s but the soundtrack is the 50s soundtrack of my dreams. so so good, give it a watch if you can
