might sound lame but it’s a chance to eat stuff u don’t normally. i got 2 kinds of weird looking squash just for the hell of it cuz its in season in october (along with other things in season) do little weird things like that.
even trying to stick to doing things theme related. since its a change of season u can try to do stuff u normally wouldn’t do! even do it alone, that’s what i do, and i’ve met people from doing so!

i’m trying to unlearn a lot of forms of convenience and being thankful for what the earth allows, so i’m starting to only buy in season produce this year. here’s what in season for summer if you’d like to join me:
fruits: berries, watermelons and stone fruits
veg: carrots, corn, asparagus, beets, peas, cucumber, eggplant, herbs, tomato, zucchini and squash
there’s lots of variety in the things you can make in the summer and this is the time these fruits and veggies will be at their best. a tip: try buying your herbs now and freezing or drying them for easy use later in the year :)

Nothing tastes better than soil of the earth produce you get for a pound at the local farmers market. Now that I’m 22 I have gone into a bit of a health fad and take vitamins, care about my gut health and… buy seasonal produce.
Lowkey nothing tastes better than fresh lemons. They’re cheap and divine, and a squeeze on anything makes a dish so much more better.

i just finished watching for the first time a couple days ago
