I discovered this song on one of the saddest spring nights of my life and let it play as I tried to go to sleep. For some reason it always makes me think of extremely bright moonlight on oak trees. Principal songwriter Rick Alverson went on to direct The Comedy with Tim Heidecker and Entertainment with Gregg Turkington.

I was on here, and someone posted about their own band, local to PA I believe - I CANNOT FIND YOU ANYMORE BUT I WANT YOU TO KNOW I LISTENED. THIS IS DAMN GORGEOUS. Cut silk for a fine tailor, a stuffed bag for a boxer, and the permanent OOO message for the corporate commoner. Luxury, relief, invitation to connect/disconnect. Actor is my fav.

It's a true slowcore song. I felt high listening to it. It's something to listen when you want to feel a depressed mood within you.

I’ve loved Aaron Powell’s solo project for a few years now - Dragonchaser and Captain are two incredible records which both grabbed me initially - and the further I delve into his back catalogue I still find amazing gems like this lofi slowcore piece.
