Nearly done Our Share of the Night. This might be the best fiction book I’ve ever read (I tend to exaggerate but I’m not playing). Mariana Enriquez has my heart forever.
By Michelle McNamara (RIP). It feels wrong to say I’m enjoying it due to the subject matter, but her writing has been clear & easy for me to follow, & she maintains a high level of respect for the victims, which is a must in true-crime IMHO.
i only recently read this, but i think it’s become one of my favs! dark feminism, mystery, hypocrisy of tradition…i really enjoyed it! it’s written well, has a good balance of tones and had a very fun ending 10/10!
