its really simple. You get a few lists: queue, completed, archived, paused. There‘s no “friends”, so no one will be able to see what you’re reading. There’s no “goals” so you can just read for fun, at the speed you want. Your reviews are for you and you alone. If you want to track what you want to read and what you’ve already read without feeling like you’re on social media, ItalicType is what you need.

It sounds pretentious but it’s not pretentious at all. you can read on your phone too. It makes time go by so fast and you get to reach the end of your book faster. It’s so nice.

I think a lot of kids grow up with largely friends of their same gender. That’s the problem. Heteronormativity and seperating the genders in every aspect of life. sports, activities, friend groups. We condition men (and women!) to begin othering the opposite sex from birth. When in doubt, ungender it.
