My favorite βgenreβ of podcasts is whatever you call long form conversations between people with great chemistry and good understanding of the medium. Merlin and John, to my brain, are the best at that.
From episode 01 ("Keep Moving and Get Out of the Way") they were already making what would be gems of P.I. Recs.
At the same time, I struggle to recommend it. John and Merlin have been recording their weekly conversations since September 2011, 12.5 years ago. 1/8 of a century ago.
Is this how Star Trek / Doctor Who fans feel when they see the emptiness in my eyes as they begin explaining how the show peaked on its 17th season but the ride is worth it?
Still, one of my absolute favorite things in life.

Excellent podcast about music, the people who make it, the industry that surrounds it, and the words that are written about it. I would be recommending it even if the hosts didn't follow me on here by the way.

Lucius gave you good advice, so I'll just throw in some tools that can help you work with disks.
I will echo one thing tho, you prob want the cloud in there somewhere, because if a disaster strikes your house, block, town, or you're concerned about political instability having copies of that material in a very different location is GOOD.

Hidden in a neighborhood in a building designed by Ando, lots of rotating exhibitions often involving queer art and history, digital art, and bigger art and architecture retrospectives. Prob as close to a secret big art space as you can get in Chicago.
