people should always know if you think that their hair looks good today, that they had a really good idea in the meeting, that their shoes are cool, that they are a good friend, that you love them etc.

agree 100% especially from my experience in service jobs a random compliment will literally become the only thing keeping me going during my shift

just compliment them! just tell them you love their outfit! just tell them their haircut is perfect and you can't find that on pinterest! tell them "i like you," so their brain can relax and they can just be. tell them when you're reminded of something they said or taught you. tell them "i was thinking about you!" and mean it. ...this is just the pep talk i needed

This is a type of walk I do almost every day. Walk in one direction until you hit a stoplight. Then immediately turn and walk in the new direction until you hit a stoplight and repeat until you get back home.
