If you have a car (I don’t anymore— mine got stolen a few weeks ago), save a parking ticket and put it on your windshield when you want to park illegally. in my experience, it worked about 80% of the time :) side note: there was no decoy parking ticket on the windshield when my car got stolen...

backing into parking spaces

i used to think “okay we get it 🙄” when i saw anyone BACK into a parking space. but lately i’ve been throwing my shit back and honestly i get it. it’s so satisfying and efficient.

parking next to cars that are the same as yours

whenever I see a car remotely similar to mine I always park next to it no matter how far across the parking lot it is It’s as if my car is reuniting with its long lost relative

Reread children’s books

i reread the picture book “the library” by sarah stewart, it was so cute and had some lez undertones. i felt whimsy and sweet. i read a bunch of others too and the pure shots of nostalgia back to back was intoxicating
