Also this book is AMAZING. Really changed the way I look at not just fungus but the world. i read the standard text version, but he then released an illustrated version with photographs and diagrams and illustrations and im soooo jealous people get to experience it that way for the first time.

Lots of hard pills to swallow w/ Frommβs theories but I find myself agreeing with most :o

I know The Secret History is the most popular Tartt novel, but this one should be hyped so much more than it is!! It's a super long read, but it genuinely changed me as a person to sit through. It really spoke to me about the meaning of art and human connection and what it means to try to be a good person, even when you are convinced you have already messed up too much or have done everything wrong. I haven't been able to be as interested in many other books since, because nothing seems to be able to affect me as deeply (So I guess it kinda cursed me LOL).
