c- was an ambient collective from 2017-2023. Lots of artists that were always kinda big in the scene, but have since gained bigger audiences (ian kim judd, purelink, west mineral ltd. artists) Their archive and remaining internet presence appear to exist exclusively on soundcloud.

lotus eater and suicide blades were my jam back in 2014. this album had a crazy impact on the soundcloud beat scene at the time too, everyone was making beats like this for a while afterwards. iโd say itโs aged pretty well, even in a time long past the over saturation point for โlofi hip hopโ it has a certain charm to its lush sample-based production that goes beyond the pastiche that defines the genre now and sounds pretty unique

My friends Caleb and Laura run Clue, an independent perfumery based in Chicago. They're childhood friends who started their company almost a year ago. The fragrances they offer are all distinct, unisex, and most importantly, smell good when you wear them. Notable influences include memories of foraging for mushrooms in their backyards, attending church with their families, and Fred Wolf's 1971 animation, The Point. I love how intentional each release is, with Laura dedicating several months to creating each scent while Caleb directs the look and feel, all before hand bottling it themselves. Their branding feels established and accessible, appealing to both high end fragrance fans and to those trying a fragrance for the first time.
