i've always wanted to tote around a camera with me with the intention of taking more pictures. for awhile that was my grandma's vintage kodak cameo, but then developing film became so much more expensive and i stopped. i didn't necessarily want a 2000s digital camera because having screens to look at in a camera makes me feel unecessarily judgy of myself? ๐Ÿ˜ญ i found out about this by accident through an ad on reddit and i was really taken in by it having the uncomplicated energy of a film camera but the convenience/cost saving of digital cameras. i've had this for about 3 months and i love it. i actually remember to snap quick photos but i'm not staring at the screen contemplating whether or not my teeth look weird. it's sturdy too! my clumsy self has dropped it in my rocky backyard.

This little camera is great. I think having a dedicated device for stuff is so much more fun than using your phone for everything. Plus you get cool pics that don't look like everyone else's iPhone pics that all use the same camera and decoding etc. And it's a conversation starter and feels like a fun toy to just carry around. Also it's only 70$ so a lot cheaper than a film point and shoot.

Satisfaction of a film camera without paying for film. its a digital camera but doesnโ€™t have a screen so you have to wait to upload pics to a computer to see your work. The right kind of gimmicky

got a $40 digital camera bc i kept running out of storage on my phone. it is so fun and the quality isn't perfect, but it is nostalgic and dreamy, and shoots well in bright light. at some point having every function in one device became, somehow, addictive AND boring. more dedicated media devices in 2025!

going to see challengers on my own today! and i'm very excited. i'm someone who actually doesn't mind going to the cinema alone. i've done it so many times over the years, and totally do not get people who say it's sad. if i lived somewhere where i could go to late night screenings on my own, i would do it all the time. sometimes i end up making a friend, sometimes i just get to sit and get sucked in and then i get to leave and choose my favorite place to eat. it's a nice way to spend a day on your own, and i think more people (especially people in their 20s) should take themselves on little dates.

if i had a comfort sitcom, this would be it :,) sadly it only has two short seasons, so i've seen every episode at least 10 times. (if you're going to watch it, make sure to look up the right episode order because it aired out of order.) when i'm at a loss for what i want to watch, i put it on. somehow despite having seen it a bajillion times, the gags still land. there's also something so inherently 2000s about it with its slightly outdated jokes and energy that i find charming. it's the same way i feel about 2 broke girls. it's just fun hjinks with people who are kind of messed up!!!

to me figs smell like summer. i love fig scents, especially if they smell a bit more green than fruity. my favorite perfume smells a bit like the green-ness(?) but also fresh, clean dirt after the rain. if not fig, i am very much a sandalwood person or blackcurrant one. i like smelling nice but not necessarily floral. :)
