the incredible Beatles documentary on the making of Let it Be My favorite parts: when they jam together, especially when John and Paul riff back and forth, laughing and goofing off — making faces, doing accents, singing through their closed teeth, inventing risque lyrics their joy in making music and love for one another so evident An inspiring picture of a creative process Eight hours well spent. And: love that Ringo Starr!

the sam mendes biopic news prompted me to finally start The Beatles: Get Back (2021) and wow!! it’s incredible to see their dynamic and their creative process. very uninteresting to say i love the beatles but i do. my mexican dad played their music a Lot growing up and i had an obsessive Across The Universe (2007) era as a teen. tbt below

This is usually a nightly occurrence for me, and I highly recommend this for your general well-being, and happiness. Start Get back, watch the whole thing, and by the time your favorite boys are done playing on the roof, start it all over again. It's so long, you’ve already forgotten how it starts and everything is new again.

Despite the fact that it’s literally four already successful dudes “jamming” on guitars for 9-hours straight, and John Lennon creeps me tf out, with context it’s actually insane to watch the dynamic between each of the band members and the people around them.

this is worthy of celebration: the lack of video—autoplay video, noisy inane video, panicky video, algorithmic, dumb video, rabbit hole video, any video—on pi.fyi is a good thing
