I am finally in a place where I understand what colors, textures, and silhouettes look best on me.
Focused on quality and the integrity of fabric.
The most recent example for me is replacing my old stretched out synthetic fabric pajama bottoms that I probably purchased from Target with some high quality 100% cotton ones that are giving elegant and grown.
I also just made the upgrade to leather gloves that are cashmere lined to replace polyester gloves that get sopping wet in two seconds.

even though it’s not one purchase, simplifying and gaining pieces with quality and durability has made it easier to dress myself and also allow for less decision making.

I’ve been trying to spend less on new clothes and it’s giving me the opportunity to rediscover older items in my wardrobe that I haven’t worn in years. And I feel like my style has almost improved?

even if its delusional, I really do love the idea of trusting that all of the perceived hardships, anxieties, and lessons ultimately lead to a path that's catered to our individual needs for growth and learning.
maybe I am detaching from reality in an effort to cope, but I truly am starting to believe that miracles (big and small) happen daily and that we will all be ok in the end.
attention and intention are everything.
