Poppy, jazzy, psychedelic with lyrics spanning English, Turkish and French. Their album Mantra Moderne is my fav. Super easy, vibey listening with fun riffs throughout.
Great song off of my favorite album from 2024. Chanel Beads reminds me of my dream pop/chillwave past but theyโre expanding on these established genres in a way that feels both novel and nostalgic at times. To me, the sound is sort of like Yves Tumour meets Yung Lean meets Beach House. The whole album is very atmospheric with catchy 808 beats. Perfect to study/relax to.
It just gives you that heart string pulling feeling, but the lyrics are easy to remember for someone who traditionally sings the wrong lyrics (me) and he never takes himself too seriously. Gud stuff
