Love is Overtaking Me, Arthur Russell -an archival release, contains a lot of great folky tracks, still has elements of his electronic work Viva Last Blues, Palace Music (Will Oldham) -great intro to Will Oldham, a great off kilter folk artist Red Apple Falls, Smog (Bill Callahan) -Really solid album, very subtle and sparse but rewarding on relisten Joanna Newsom and the Ys Street Band EP, Joanna Newsom -Beautiful EP with great folk accompaniment, even if you aren’t familiar with her music, i think this is a great starting point, the second track is very emotional for me

TAMPOPO (1985)

this is my favorite movie ever!!! it is a “ramen western” that has literally everything i could want in a movie. it has a clear story line with awesome characters, while having funny vignettes throughout. it’s all about food while also touching on sooo many other themes. im bad at talking about movies so just watch it lol :-p

i never really cared for these things tbh, they can be warty and lowkey ugly…. BUT that was until i found ones that look like swans/geese. they are kind of charming and u can just hang them wherever u want lol
